Do not ignore whatever hint or clue that might impair your motorcycling abilities. The main idea with almost any kinds of impairment is to recognize that you are starting to get affected. Any impairment can cloud your thinking and limits you from recognizing danger. It’s a no brainer that you should not ride a motorcycle if you are tired or fatigue or under emotional upheaval.
Riders under this particular conditions are harmful on the road and to other vehicles. Operating a machinery or vehicle should be approached cautiously if you are hungry, sick, tired, upset or distraught. If you will continue to ride or drive things might get worse. This is where road rage and accidents mostly happens. And since there is no way to measure fatigue on crash victims, these impairments should be every motorcyclist’s major concern.
When you are tired almost always your peripheral vision starts to deteriorate and it serve as as a warning that it is time to park and rest for awhile. Your sight should be your priority in keeping things in check because everything you do on a motorcycle is based on what you see. If you see things clearly ahead of you, you will have more information( minutes or seconds earlier) make good split second decision and would be able to deal with situations more easily and you will have fewer surprises. If you spot an animal in the bushes about fifty yards ahead or notice a thin layer of sand, oil collecting at the intersection or a patch of wet leaves or black ice before the bridge of if you notice the subtle head movement if the driver indicating a left turn, you are able to deal with them easily well before you even get there.
